Top Qualities to Look for in a Great BMW Service

You probably have a number of BMW service options in the area where you live, or at least a few to choose from anyway.  Why do some people go to one more often than others?  Keep in mind some of these considerations as you conduct your comparison search:

1. Price.  While this is the first choice on many people’s list, there’s much more to choosing a BMW service than finding the cheapest one available.  For example, you never know what type of quality you will get for what you are paying.  If someone doesn’t charge much at first, but then they do a poor job, then they weren’t worth that lower price after all.  Very often, that’s used to get people in the door, and then the money is made on repeat service afterward.
2. Does the company have your best interests in mind?  Who is the company really serving – you or itself?  What is the vibe you receive when interacting with staff or reading advertisements?  Are they always trying to sell you something, or are they trying to identify your problems and resolve them?  The more they are doing the latter, the better.
3. Prompt response and service delivery.  If the BMW service company you are interacting with is very prompt in their interactions, it means they take their jobs seriously and have a passion for what they are doing.  Usually, if they respond to non-emergency situations within 24 hours and emergency repair situations in under 24 hours, you can count on that company being a good one.
4. Freebies.  If you came in for just an oil change, for example, did the BMW service company also check your fluid levels and/or offer something else free in addition to the oil change, such as a tire rotation?  Companies going one step farther than they have to really are one step better than the rest.  If you find one doing this, then stick with them.
